Biography

Photographer, film maker and educator Phill Taylor first studied photography at an evening night class in his hometown of Leicester before moving on to complete a BA (Hons) degree at  Nottingham Trent University. After graduating Phill moved to London and spent a number of years assisting some of the biggest artists in the photography industry.

With the birth of the social media age, Phill was one of the earliest set of photographers active in the world of international street style  and documentary photography, regularly showcasing his work through his blog "Taylor-Made". 

Phill's calm and intuitive style has lead to work spanning across international editorial magazines and newspapers to large commercial clients. 

Phill's personal work switches between exploring shape, form and light through documentary portraits, the human body,  urban and natural landscape and flora.

Phill is also a lecturer at the University of Brighton teaching photography and moving image within Fashion Communication.
